~Nicole Rodriguez, Spanish teacher and girls soccer coach, Castle View HS:
She played at Notre Dame and went on to play with the Puerto Rican National team and still does, but that is not the best part. She has battled for equitability for her sport, gender and country and now she has been asked to join a 4 person panel at the Sporting Chance Forum hosted by UNESCO/The Center for Sport and Human Rights/ The Institute for Human Rights and Business on December 12-13 in Paris, France. She will be speaking about the inequalities faced with the Puerto Rican National team as a part of the larger picture of inequality and discrimination in women's sport.
